No, we are not a law firm. Plainly Legal™ is a legal automation tool that is designed to help online business owners get their legal protection in place quickly, easily, and affordably. The legal logic built into the software and language used in the agreements you generate was created by an experienced lawyer, but you will not get access to a lawyer as part of your subscription.
We take data privacy and protection very seriously. We tightly control who has access to the backend databases to only a few trusted Plainly Legal™ team members and developers, all of whom have signed confidentiality agreements and are bound by law to protect private information.
Plainly Legal™ keeps consumer data safe by encrypting all transmitted website data using a modern, industry standard protocol called TLS (Transport Layer Security), a step above the previously common SSL protocol. This means that regardless of what type of connection is used to access the Plainly Legal™ app, the data shared with the app is still encrypted for optimal security.
Plainly Legal™ uses a modern tech stack, using programming languages that are in use by some of the largest tech companies in the world. These programming languages are far more up-to-date than applications written in older languages, resulting in better security against hackers.
Databases and their client communications are encrypted throughout the data server platform both in transit and at rest, meaning that your data is useless and scrambled to anyone who accesses it in an attack against our hosting servers.
As an added layer of security, we split your data and store it in different databases and locations. In the unlikely event that someone were to gain unauthorized access, they would need to hack multiple encrypted data storage systems to associate the different sets of data.

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription will stay active through the end of your subscription period when you cancel and you will not be rebilled. However, canceling your subscription will lose any discounts or price rates you have locked in. If you choose to reactivate your subscription, you will be subject to the pricing of Plainly Legal™ at the time of your reactivation.
